A front open Achkan carrying the embroidery of a battle ground on Tussar kete. The button hole has fish scale zari work in maroon. This intricately designed piece has war animals like elephant, horses etc embroidered all over, depicting the Kurukshetra battlefield in the Mahabharata.
The piece is inspired by a child’s drawing and carries the innocence rather than the grammatical correctness of design.
This design is very popular and is one of Sharbari s favourite.
This Achkan has been paired with a black coloured churidar but can also be teamed with Dhotis, which bears the stamp of our Indian heritage.
